Editor's Note
Seraphic — having a sweet nature befitting an angel or cherub
As powerful winds blow down our wings of creativity, we welcome the winter’s sweet frost beyond gray clouds and rainy nights. Our imagination remains an endless pursuit—stepping beyond the mist of ambition, holding onto memories bottled in glass jars, writing love letters to the sun—to create ethereal beauty in our works.
It’s with great pleasure that we present our 2024 Winter Issue, based upon seraphims: representing the order and tenderness we reach for in the darkness.
We invite you to roam with us in our exploration of warmth and beauty in the past, present, and future. Join us in longing for the soft rasps of our nǎinais and gathering under lantern light.
As the new year waxes, we: pose one final question. To you, our dear readers, what angels do you reach for?
With love,
Bethanie and Emily
