Low Life

I use photography as a means to communicate my artistic interests. I create pictures that explore the other life forms around me and this photo is an example of one of my many explorations. I wanted the subject of the photo to be the center of attention and to create a feeling of solidity or isolation. I took this photo during the summer, with the main focus of creating an image unique to the ones I have taken before. I experimented with multiple different techniques, such as changing the settings on my camera and using flash, to accentuate the subject in a low-light situation.
