Stephanie Lu | Art by Irene Han

Take me somewhere nice, where the vistas are echoing

and the clouds boil away the day, soaking our bones

in shadow. Where the nights are clear and the moon is fresh milk

against the dark tablecloth of the sky. Take me there and tell me

that this is how we’ll stay: our bodies like melting butter,

impregnated with light. Tell me

we’ll never get used to it.
