I want to sleep in Mom’s gentle silky arms
Forever and ever and ever and
I want to ride upon Dad’s broad shoulders
Forever and ever and ever.
I want my kite to be an alien spacecraft
Forever and ever and
I want the couch to be a battleship
Forever and ever.
I want the floor to be lava
Forever and
I want to cry when I’m hurt
I want to say what’s on my mind
I want not to be judged so harshly
I want not to stress over a dumb grade
I want to see the world with bright eyes once again.
